Great little lights. VERY bright - I would not recommend them for children's use. These would be handy to take camping, for emergency use around the house, and for completing odd jobs in dark places...no more holding the flashlight! I will be placing them in strategic places around my home for emergencies. The light can be pulled up to varying levels to give just the right amount of light. There are two hangers on the top and a small hook on the bottom to hang the lanterns. There are three magnets on the bottom. The magnets on the bottom are not as strong as I would like. They did hold themselves up sideways on my refrigerator but could be easily knocked off. They take 3 AAA batteries which were included!!
