I never used it on the beach. I think a person’s weight would cause it to sink into the sand a bit and then it might make it difficult to rock. Might depend on how soft the sand is.

I think the measurements are in the post. I don’t have the specific height but I’m 5’8” and when resting still in the chair my feet don’t touch the ground unless I lean forward. It’s incredibly comfy and wide. My back is not great so it’s nice to rock forward to get up! It’s a really nicely made chair! I got a Mac Sports double decker wagon to bring my chair with me!

Yes, it will do fine for the occasional splash or rain shower - but I wouldn’t leave it permanently outside. It folds easily for storage when you’re not using it. We’ve used ours outdoors and hose them off when we bring them back inside. They’ve done great.
