Portal Nomis ONE™ provides a 12-month limited warranty covering manufacturing defects under normal use. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery, provided the product is in its original condition with all accessories included.
-
For safety reasons, we strongly recommend collapsing and packing the tent away during daily commuting and while driving, rather than leaving it set up on the roof.
-
Absolutely! This tent is designed for multi-scenario flexibility:
On the Ground: It can be used directly on the ground just like a standard inflatable tent. The high-strength inflatable base will provide excellent support and comfort on the ground.
In a Truck Bed: The current Portal Nomis ONE™ can work with pickup trucks. However, if you want to place it inside the truck bed, please check your bed size against our dimensions: the inflatable air mattress/base is 235 × 150 × 15 cm (approx. 7.7 × 4.9 ft, 5.9" thick) and the unfolded main tent is 210 × 137 × 150 cm (6.9 × 4.5 × 4.9 ft).
For future versions, we're also looking into developing smaller sizes that can better fit most pickup beds. -
Here are the detailed dimensions for your reference:
Main Tent (Unfolded): 210 × 137 × 150 cm / 6.9 × 4.5 × 4.9 ft
Inflatable Air Mattress / Base: 235 × 150 × 15 cm / 7.7 × 4.9 ft (Thickness: 5.9 in)
Interior Dimensions (Inner Tent): 204 × 131 × 125 cm / 80 × 52 × 49 in
Awning Area (Fully Opened): Approx. 5.66 m²
Adjustable Ladder: Extends from 70 to 230 cm / 2.3 to 7.55 ft
Packed / Folded Size (Main Tent + Inflatable Base): 82 × 45 × 40 cm -
Don't worry, we have included solutions for different puncture or leak scenarios with the final product:
Main Tent Leak/Puncture: We include a dedicated TPU repair kit with every shipment, allowing you to easily and quickly patch up any minor leaks or damage on the main tent body.
Inflatable Base Leak/Puncture: The base is constructed from heavy-duty PVC material. Minor scratches or wear won't affect its air tightness, so it can be used without immediate repair. If it suffers a small 1–5 mm puncture from branches or sharp rocks, it will only lose air slowly rather than bursting. We include a PVC repair patch for quick self-repairs.
Severe Damage: For larger tears (several centimeters or more), our brand warranty will cover and support you with professional technical solutions.
*Maintenance Tip: We highly recommend avoiding dragging the base repeatedly over rough ground to prevent unnecessary wear. -
For this launch, black will be the only color available for now. However, we are definitely considering more color options for future versions, and we'll be collecting feedback and running polls in our Facebook Group.
As for the heat, please don't worry. We have designed the tent with maximum airflow in mind to keep you cool. The tent features large openable windows and vents on all four sides. When fully opened, they create highly efficient cross-ventilation, allowing fresh air to flow freely and quickly dissipate heat. -
Our tent has successfully passed wind resistance testing for Beaufort Force 5 winds (approx. 19–24 mph / 29–38 km/h).
Important Safety Guidelines:
1. Requires Stakes & Guy Lines: In windy conditions, the tent must be properly anchored using the provided ground stakes and guy lines to ensure structural stability and safety.
2. Evacuate / Takedown Threshold: If wind speeds exceed Beaufort Force 5, for your safety and gear protection, we strongly recommend discontinuing use and immediately collapsing/taking down the tent. -
It’s not built like a standard air mattress. The base uses heavy-duty PVC drop-stitch construction, which helps it stay flat, firm, and supportive when inflated — more like a rigid inflatable platform than a soft sleeping pad. Don't worry, it is not built like a standard air mattress at all. The base uses the same high-strength technology used in rigid inflatable paddle boards (SUPs).
When inflated, tens of thousands of high-density threads pull together tightly to create an incredibly rigid platform rather than a soft sleeping pad. This ensures it stays perfectly flat, firm, and highly supportive when placed across just two crossbars, with absolutely no sagging. -
It's secured to the crossbar using plastic mounting brackets and T-bolts.
The T-bolts slide into the T-slot channels on your crossbars, then the brackets are tightened securely with a wrench. Two brackets are installed on each crossbar and aligned with the mounting points on the bottom of the tent system. For a detailed, step-by-step installation guide, please refer to our video: https://youtu.be/4ZXofq83Z50
While the included hardware is optimized for T-slot crossbars, we are currently developing new mounting accessories to support other types of non-T-slot crossbars. This will ensure compatibility with a wider range of roof rack systems in the near future. -
Size Requirements:
Crossbar Length: ≥ 1.1m (43.3")
Crossbar Distance (Center-to-Center): ≥ 1.0m (39.4")Compatibility:
T-Slot Only: Designed exclusively for T-slot crossbars. Watch our installation video for a visual demonstration: https://youtu.be/4ZXofq83Z50
Hardware: Uses heavy-duty plastic brackets and 19mm T-bolts to slide directly into the crossbar channels. -
