1-Piece Foldable Tabletop
Unlike the traditional method of connecting aluminum leaves with a thin elastic strand, all Portal aluminum tabletops are connected by side clips and stay intact as one foldable piece. In other folding tables, elastic strands harden and become frail through time, but our engineering magic makes Portal gear last.
We have redesigned our table carry bag to have two separate compartments, one for the collapsible steel frame and one for our nicely patterned tabletop. This will reduce scratch and damage to the tabletop during transportation and travel.
The evenly spaced tabletop can be securely attached to the quick-folding frame. If fully extended and properly assembled, the portable table gives a quick snap sound to indicate that the tabletop is locked in place.
The frame is powered coated in an elegant grey shade, matching gracefully with either the aluminum silver or pecan brown tabletop. This camping table is aesthetically fitting for a Dîner en Blanc or a day of celebration in the park.
Frequently Asked Questions
It's height is NOT adjustable. This is silly for such an amazing table. You could easily put in telescopic legs, just like a camera tripod and this thing would be instantly adjustable. It's a crime that it's not because in every other way - this table is perfect!
LOVE LOVE LOVE this table! Easy to assemble and fast shipping.
This table is fantastic. So easy to set up and take down.
I bought the table to put my Coleman stove on for cooking while camping. It was good height, sturdy enough for the stove and to hole dished behind the stove. I recommend if you're not using it at an everyday table.
Bought to stow in the very compact overhead storage of our Travato camper, and it's the right size and weight for that. We don't use it a lot, but it's been sturdy enough and easy to set up. I have created padded sleeves for the plastic protrusions where the table parts snap together, as they seem very vulnerable to breakage. So far, so good, but not much heavy use.
